Here is some example text that you can edit to best suit your individual or group audiences.

The Hackney Pirates are looking for more volunteers to join their crew in supporting local young people to develop literacy, confidence and perseverance. Volunteer Crewmates work one-to-one or in small groups with children aged 9-13, supporting them with reading and creative writing activities. The writing children produce is then published in the form of books, studio recordings, smartphone apps and films. The commitment required of volunteers is very low, just one session a month (3.45pm to 6.45pm).

I think you'd make a great Volunteer Crewmate! You can find out more and sign up here:  www.hackneypirates.org/volunteer

If you are interested in supporting and would like more information, please email volunteering@hackneypirates.org
