Inspire Me: Need to get fit, stop burglars or create your own worm juice? Visit Inspire me a website created by the young pirates as an instructional tool for life’s many burdens. Inspire me will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to live a happy and content pirate lifestyle.
Collage T-shirts: Taking inspiration from the city, the young pirates created intriguing and distinctive mixed media collages which have been printed onto T-shirts. Each T-shirt has a unique design created by an individual pirate showcasing their weird and wonderful take upon Hackney.
Pandemonium on the Tracks: Pandemonium does not do it justice. A fantastically wild and adventurous play from the equally wild and fantastic imagination of the young pirates. Pandemonium on the Tracks presents amazing characters created entirely by the young pirates ranging from ninjas to cyborgs and princesses to champion jockeys.
Hackney Pirates poetry: The young pirates take you on a lyrical journey exploring different rhythms, flows, beats and sounds. Sit back, relax and enjoy the absurd and hilarious rhymes put forward by the Hackney Pirates. You will be left fully amused by the Young Pirates’ unique take on slam poetry.
Pow! A Guide to Hackney Superheroes….: The only place where you will find Hackney’s own dark knights and anarchic villains. With the help of best selling author Sarah Winman the young pirates created a series of stories based upon superheroes or villains of their own creation. Be enthralled by the heroic acts and wicked deeds of Hackney’s own super people.
Postcards: A series of postcards showcasing the most important locations in Hackney. Find out the insider’s view on where’s best in the borough with our striking postcards.
The Sheeps Journey: What has a little white sheep got in common with the Hackney Pirates? Together they went on an adventure through the silver world in The Sheep’s Journey, alongside professional animator Saskia Schmidt. Get ready for time portals, silver eggs and robot pirates. Tasty Dalston: The Young Pirates put their taste-buds to work to create Tasty Dalston, a website celebrating what Dalston tastes like. Expect restaurant reviews, poems and other mouth-watering delights!
The Good Ship Rooftop: Ever wanted to create your own comic book? The Young Pirates had the chance to when they created their graphic novel with the help of professional graphic novelist Roger Mason.
